A couple of notes:
1) Set after the S3 new series ender, "Last of the Time Lords," with spoilers for same.
2) My first story in the fandom, and as such probably thick with cliches true Whovians began to consider hoary back in about 1968. But I am a noob, and so it is all new to me, and even in fandom, ontogeny recapitulates phylogeny.
Summary: The Master's paradox machine proves to have been a bad influence on the TARDIS, and the Doctor's sure Martha is the only one who can help him set it to rights.

I've been a Who fan for like the last 30 years of my life. It's the fandom that's been with me longest and strongest, and just when I'd almost given up the ghost (I was down to reading an occasional eighth Doctor book and listening to a few of the Big Finish radio adventures) the BBC goes and revives the show and I've been loving it ever since.
Okay, now I'll go calm down and actually go read the fic and leave you some proper feedback!
